18thc. English Delft Liverpool Fazackerley Plate Charger - c. 1740-1760

A fine Liverpool delft (or delftware) charger (13 1/4") featuring a floral design to the center and around the circumference. The dish or charger has a raised foot rim and is decorated with a central floral spray with leaves. The rim is decorated with four similar but smaller arrangements. The decoration on this charger interprets the "Fazackerley color palate" and dates to the mid 18th century period.
Diameter: 13.25 inches
Current Condition: No restoration just minor fritting at edge. Note presence of saggar peg marks on underside underscoring age and authenticity. museum-quality example of early delft manufacture
