A tin-glazed, hand-moulded plate roughly 9 3/8 ( 24cm) in diameter and 1 5/8 deep (4cm) from the late 18th or early 19th century. Scalloped rim with moulded vine perimeter A few minor rim chips as shown but no cracks, hairlines. A very fine example of early pottery from Moustiers-Sainte-Martie in southern France, a prominent ceramics center since the late 18th century. Stamped Moustiers Barbaroux B '
