Finely-modeled three-leg compote/server decidedly from George Jones c. 1878. Brilliant glaze indicative of Jones pieces. "Snakeskin" mottled green underside, partially impressed "GJ" mark encased in circle and impressed British registration mark dated April 1873. Light blue well surrounded by sprigs of flowers, vines and leaves.. A twisted vine forms the three legs Measures 8" in diameter and approximately 2 3/8" in height. CONDITION: Light crazing on underside if viewed with loupe, as expected. Otherwise extremely fine antique condition with no chips, cracks or other blemishes.
