A beautiful Blush Ivory porcelain pitcher in the European Art Nouveau style, made by Royal Worcester in 1886. It is decorated with asymmetrical and scattered floral arrangements, called ‘Art Sprays’, in muted colors, embellished with gold.

The porcelain vessel itself was designed to look as though it was made from natural materials, such as coral, ivory, wood and wicker. The muted color palette, accented with gilding, is placed on a warm Blush Ivory porcelain surface, a ceramic medium that was first registered by Royal Worcester in 1885. Blush Ivory was produced until around 1914. This piece, created in 1886, is an early and fine example of Royal Worcester Blush Ivory artistry.
